Here we are, 20 of us sitting in the airport, waiting to get on the plane to Mexico city. We are surrounded by those going back home, where we are going to be visitors. It's an odd thing for a group of American teens to feel like the minority. Not many here on this trip have got to experience this. Spanish is being announced after English, and we still aren't sure what we are supposed to be doing. We are about to embark on an adventure. A time where our small world will be made bigger, realizing there is a lot more to the world than the next cool video game or the next greatest car. Our eyes will be opened and we are excited for the journey.
